In this episode, Anna Palmer (apalmerdc) and Ana Marie Cox talked to Piper Perabo (PiperPerabo) about going from actress to activist. Piper shared her journey from simply wanting to help, to being willing to get arrested for what she believed in. They talked about what it means to really be an ally, and how to listen and help those who are marginalized without taking over their causes. They reflected on the privilege of having such a large platform, and how to use it for good. They ended by talking about what’s next, and how we can keep the momentum of political involvement going.
